But her honors were not limited to the dance floor. FHM Online named the captivating Karina as 2008 Sexiest Woman online.

Yelena: A Statuesque Hot Russian Record Breaker

Named one of the captivating women in track and field, for her supermodel looks and incredible athletic skill, Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbaeva is one hot Russian woman who has taken the old stereotype of a female track athlete and turned it on its head.
The Best
Yelena has been called the one of the greatest female athletes of her generation with 27 world records, two Olympic Gold Medals in 2004 and 2008, and since 2004, she has won 9 straight gold medals in various track competitions. Yelena was also named the 2004, 2005 and 2008 Female Athlete of the Year by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), and named World Sportswoman of the Year for 2007 and 2009 by Laureus. Earlier this year Spain awarder her with the Prince Asturias Award for Sport joining tennis stars Martina Navratilova and Steffi Graf, as only the third woman to win this honor. Because of these achievements many consider her the greatest female pole-vaulter in history.
Record Breaker
July 22, 2005 was a one for the record books when Yelena became the first woman to clear the historic 5 meter (16 feet) mark in the pole vault. Her most recent world records include the 5.05 meter (16.5 feet) outdoor record set at the 2008 Olympics and the 5 meter indoor record set at the Donetsk indoor meet in February 2009. She has also set record marks in 2004 at the world indoor championships and the Athens Olympics.
First Love
Gymnastics was Yelena’s first love growing up in Volgograd but when she was 15 Yelena has to give it up since she was too tall to compete. Being a competitor the 5’8” Yelena turned to pole vaulting and found immediate success. In 1998, at the age of 16, just one year after she began training, she won first place at the World Youth Games in Moscow. Five Easy Ways to a Better Lifestyle
Recently, there was a great article titled How Do Russian Women Stay So Hot? That got me to thinking, how can men stay fit in with busy schedules and the everyday worries about the economy, investments, your job or business? With a hectic lifestyle you can forget about the most important thing, you. You need to take of your body but how can you get the recommended 60 to 90 minutes of exercise a day? Here are just a few quick and easy exercises you can do and before you know it you are feeling better, your pants aren’t so tight and you’ll be the one with fresh ideas at work.
1. Walk Around
Instead of driving, taking the bus or train could you walk to work, to lunch, or the store? How about taking the stairs? Instead of spending your whole lunch hour eating or surfing the net, take a 30 minute walk outside. Studies prove that a good 30 minute walk clears your mind, makes you more creative, gives you more energy than coffee or an energy drink, and on a sunny day gives you the recommended dose of Vitamin D. If you can’t walk at lunch take a walk in the evening. It will help you wind down and will give you a good night’s sleep. Remember, at different times of the day walking instead of driving will quickly add minutes to your exercise goal.
2. Jump on a Bike
If you can’t walk to work, could you bike? Could you bike to lunch? Bike riding is a very popular way to help the planet while helping yourself. It’s a great cardio workout and stress reliever. For years it has been a very popular transportation and recreation activity in Europe. Now it’s catching on in the United States and Canada. Bike trails and parks are blossoming all over the America. Cities like Portland, OR, Seattle, San Francisco, Davis, CA and Austin, TX have all encouraged residents to give up the car and get on the bikes with bike only lanes and safe bike only trails. Even if it has been a while since you last rode, remember the old saying it’s just like riding a bike!
3. Sports
Who doesn’t like to sit on the coach, have a beer and watch our favorite sports on TV? We all do. But wasn’t it more fun to play? There are many adult recreation leagues in that encourage healthy fun. The word recreation means to re-create or renew oneself. Whether you enjoyed playing football, volleyball, basketball, bowling, dodge ball, cricket, swimming, skating- letting your inner child out is a wonderful way to have fun, let off steam and most importantly stay fit.
4. Back to the Basics
You don’t have to join a fitness club and use the fancy equipment to get in shape. Think back to when you were a kid. Remember all the fun you had on the playground? It was so much fun you didn’t want to go back to class or go home for supper. You did not know it then but you were building muscle and exercising. Basic things such as pull-ups, climbing, push-ups, jumping rope, etc. are all great exercises and don’t cost a dime.
5. The Good Stuff
Your mother was right when she said, “eat your vegetables”. I know you hate to hear it, but it’s true. Doctors have found that diets that include fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins like fish, chicken, turkey, and nuts are the best. Plus drinking water instead of a sugar filled drink can do wonders for your body.
Make sure before you get out there and channel your inner Rocky, get a check up and talk to your doctor to make sure you healthy enough to exercise. Remember start slowly and build up to higher levels. Start with a walk around the block. Then the following walk two or three blocks and before you know it you will be walking across town.
The main thing is to do something. Go get moving to reduce your stress, improve your mind and live a long happy life with the woman of your dreams.
